Spencer Lee (Board Member)

Spencer is a performing arts professional whose career bridges both the artistic and business sides of theatre and dance. He holds a degree in Arts Administration and brings a lifelong background in choreography, performance, education, and fundraising. Beginning his dance training at age six, Spencer developed a strong foundation in ballet, musical theatre, and multiple dance forms, shaping a career rooted in both creative excellence and organizational leadership.

Spencer has choreographed, performed, and taught across the United States with ballet companies, schools, and musical theatre organizations. He has served as a principal dancer, choreographer, and rehearsal director with the Northeast Ballet Company, and has worked with organizations including Greensboro Ballet, Ballet Magnificat, Albany Symphony Orchestra, New York City Ballet, Capital Repertory Theatre, Mississippi Opera, and numerous regional theatre companies. His performance work spans classical ballet and musical theatre, while his administrative experience includes supporting arts education initiatives, in-school and summer programs, and contributing to fundraising and program development efforts that sustain nonprofit arts organizations.

Now active in the Leadville arts community, Spencer continues to teach ballet, dance fitness, and adult drop-in classes. He is passionate about strengthening access to the performing arts and supporting organizations that nurture both artistic growth and long-term sustainability.
